I also carry the value of hard work, prior to being an agent I supervised and managed a total of 15 apartment complexes throughout the valley along with managing a 35 -suite commercial building for 23 years. When I was growing up there was a lack of conversation about the importance of homeownership or real estate investing. I grew up most of my life living in rentals and had the lack of knowledge of how beneficial it is to own a piece of real estate. It was until someone sat me down, educated me, believed in me and convinced me to speak to a lender to see if I would qualify. I was terrified to make the call, I was a single mother of four children at the time, the only financial provider and I just did not believed due to my situation I would even qualify. I spoke to my lender and he made me feel comfortable to continue the process. He guided me every step of the way with my credit and finances to help me towards getting me qualified. I was introduced to my realtor and good friend till this day. She stood by my side every step of the way, she made things less hectic and nerve wrecking because of the way she handled our process. Once my home closed I sat down in complete shock and when I picked up my keys and walked into MY home I felt this feeling I can't explain. That was the moment I said to myself, there is a lot of people just like me and I want them to feel just like I did when I thought I could never accomplish my goal into homeownership.
